Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Stribling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teotonio Azevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teotonio Azevedo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Stribling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teotonio Azevedo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azevedo misses with a looping left. Stribling fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Stribling shoots in and bounces Azevedo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Azevedo has momentary wrist control but Stribling slips an elbow through the middle. Stribling wants to control from the top but Azevedo keeps moving. Stribling has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Azevedo wants to stand but Stribling is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stribling throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Azevedo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stribling controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stribling might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stribling tries to free his leg and advance position but Azevedo is retaining full guard. Stribling throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stribling trying to control but Azevedo is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stribling takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Azevedo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Azevedo misses with the combination.
Azevedo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stribling defending well as Azevedo loads up on a big left hand. Stribling has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Azevedo finds it's way round the side to connect with Stribling's head. Stribling tries to clinch there but Azevedo circles away.
Teotonio Azevedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stribling ducks under a wild hook from Azevedo. Stribling drops his hands momentarily and Azevedo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Azevedo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stribling staying out of range there. BOOM! Azevedo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stribling. Stribling tries to recover but Azevedo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stribling lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teotonio Azevedo!
