Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paul Harris was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jordan Alexander! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Harris! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexander moves to clinch but Harris breaks away and Harris counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Harris controlling the action here. Harris's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Harris prevents Alexander from improving his position. Harris controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Harris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Harris gets caught flat footed, as Alexander shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Harris managing to control the position. Harris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Alexander pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Harris seems keen to control Alexander's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paul Harris. Harris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Alexander to score an easy takedown into full guard. Alexander is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Harris is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Harris has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alexander looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harris is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Alexander holds on and takes a little breather. Alexander controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris content to control rather than advance. Alexander trying to control but Harris postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jordan Alexander just wasn't active enough. Harris gets a takedown into half guard. Harris controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Harris hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Alexander drives through with a takedown into Harris's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alexander manages to get himself to full guard.

Alexander closes the distance but Harris moves to the side so Harris counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Paul Harris has got the better of the ground game so far. Harris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Alexander is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Harris's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Alexander is fighting to break Harris's control of his arms but Harris is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Alexander has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Paul Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Harris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Alexander looking for a sweep. Not yet Alexander, not yet. Harris is pushing down on Alexander's leg trying to pass to half guard. Alexander is fighting to maintain full guard but Harris has managed to sneak the leg through. Harris is controlling the pace.
Alexander looking for submissions off his back. Alexander is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Harris pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Alexander has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harris is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Paul Harris. Alexander doesn't manage to clinch there - Harris circles away.
Harris gets a double leg takedown into Alexander's guard. Alexander is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Harris is aware though and is defending well. Harris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Alexander lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Harris! Harris gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris manages to get to full guard.
Harris pulls Alexander in close to his closed guard and prevents Alexander from doing any damage or advancing position. Alexander won't allow Harris to sweep him here. Harris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alexander's guard. Alexander trying to keep a closed guard but Harris is proving a slippery customer.
Alexander can't keep his opponent in guard - Harris advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Harris prevents Alexander from improving his position. Jordan Alexander has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris content to control rather than advance. Alexander flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Harris looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Harris winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
