Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Maci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Pulaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Pulaski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mario Maci! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adrian Pulaski! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pulaski scores with a head kick. Maci tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Horrible takedown by Pulaski or perhaps it was just good defense by Maci which made him look bad. Pulaski throws a right hand that Maci ducks under and follows up with a left that Maci also avoids with ease. Maci moves out of range of the body kick. Pulaski looks for a takedown but Maci sprawls well. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pulaski. Maci shrugs it off though. Pulaski throws a one two combo.
Pulaski throws a series of punches but Maci avoids them all with ease. Maci looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Maci is breathing heavily. Pulaski looks for a takedown but Maci sprawls well. Mario Maci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Pulaski. No luck for Maci with that takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pulaski fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Pulaski. Pulaski looks to land a combination but Maci avoids it well. Pulaski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maci circles away quickly and effectively. Pulaski thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Maci if he has to take too many more of those.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Pulaski. Maci stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maci wants it to stay on the feet. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pulaski. Maci shrugs it off though. Pulaski clinches up against the cage. Pulaski can't break the clinch.

Pulaski scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Pulaski shoots in for a double leg but Maci sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A kick lands to the mid section there for Pulaski. Pulaski closes the distance and clinches up with Maci, looking for a takedown. Pulaski pushes Maci against the cage but Maci circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Maci misses with the combination.
Crunch! Pulaski slams his shin into Maci's torso. Pulaski lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Pulaski. Pulaski keeps Maci at a distance using the push kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pulaski. Maci shrugs it off though. Maci fails with an attempt to clinch.
Maci slaps away a takedown attempt from Pulaski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Maci fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pulaski avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulaski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maci circles away. Maci tries a head kick but it misses.
Pulaski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Maci counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maci content to control rather than advance. Maci's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mario Maci has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Horrible takedown by Pulaski or perhaps it was just good defense by Maci which made him look bad. Maci stuffs the takedown. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maci drives through and clinches with Pulaski against the cage.
Maci drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pulaski pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pulaski shoots in for a double leg but Maci sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian Pulaski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mario Maci's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Maci clinches. Pulaski looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Maci will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Maci misses with a punch on the inside.
Maci is trying to break free. Pulaski tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Pulaski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maci moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pulaski tries for a takedown but Maci sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mario Maci is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pulaski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Maci wants to clinch. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Pulaski. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Pulaski tries to clinch there but Maci circles away.
Maci has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pulaski. Adrian Pulaski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A momentary lapse in concentration from Pulaski enables Maci to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pulaski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Pulaski looking for a sweep. Not yet Pulaski, not yet. Pulaski uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pulaski misses with a takedown attempt - Maci sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mario Maci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Pulaski. Pulaski tries to work over Maci's front leg with a kick but Maci checks it. Maci shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pulaski really wants to buck Maci off and get back to his feet. Maci thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maci fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Pulaski is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pulaski is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Maci lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maci has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pulaski's face.
Maci cracks Pulaski with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Maci breaks from Pulaski's wrist control and lands an elbow. Maci working for a submission but Pulaski is keeping him at bay. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pulaski wants to control but Maci is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maci with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mario Maci dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mario Maci's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Pulaski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pulaski shoots in looking for a takedown. Maci tries to sprawl out of it but Pulaski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maci manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pulaski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maci paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pulaski thows a body kick. Maci tries to catch it but that hurt him. Pulaski fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Maci tries to keep at a distance but Pulaski has taken the fight into the clinch. Pulaski lands a knee to the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pulaski tries to land knees in the clinch but Maci avoids the damage to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maci is trying to pull guard but Pulaski has him pressed against the cage. Maci tries to pull guard but Pulaski won't allow it.
Pulaski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Maci misses with a body shot.

Maci takes a knee right on the jaw!

Pulaski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pulaski. Maci shrugs it off though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pulaski throws the kick towards the body but Maci avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulaski moves into the clinch successfully.
Maci jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pulaski walks away with a smile on his face. Maci gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Maci moves in looking to clinch but Pulaski pushes him off. Maci fails with a takedown attempt. Pulaski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maci manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A slapping body kick lands there for Pulaski. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Maci crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pulaski - the referee stops the clock and Maci gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pulaski. Maci manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Maci slips a jab and a cross from Pulaski.
Pulaski throws a series of punches but Maci moves out of range. A leg kick checked by Pulaski. Adrian Pulaski seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pulaski, right into the meat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A solid body kick from Pulaski. Pulaski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Maci is looking to clinch but Pulaski is avoiding it.

Maci shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pulaski napping and manages to drive through into side control! The strikes coming from Maci are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pulaski is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Maci has just dragged him back down to the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pulaski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Maci wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Adrian Pulaski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pulaski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
