Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Winkler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Miller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rolf Winkler's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rolf Winkler! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winkler has taken the fight to the clinch.
Miller jumps guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Winkler content to stall in guard here. Winkler trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Winkler with a flurry of punches that miss. Miller wants to stand but Winkler is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rolf Winkler. Miller feints and as Winkler raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Winkler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winkler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Winkler is trying to keep Miller in close.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Winkler trying to control the position here.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rolf Winkler wasn't active enough on the ground. Winkler tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller drives through with a takedown into guard. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winkler pulls Miller in to control the position. Winkler trying to control the position.
Winkler is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Winkler passes to full mount! Winkler working for a guillotine from mount but Miller is in no mood to give up. This has been an exciting period of action! Winkler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Let's hope that Winkler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winkler scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Miller?
Winkler takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Winkler lands a big shot there that rocks Miller but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Winkler forces the positional change into back control. That's four minutes gone in the round. Winkler is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Miller is defending well though. Winkler let's go of the attempt for now. Winkler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Winkler keeps control of the position as Miller tries to break free.
Winkler gets his hands free as Miller looks to control. Will Winkler go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Winkler has Miller flattened out and is raining down punches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Winkler just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Rolf Winkler dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Miller clinches up with Winkler and pushes him back against the cage. Winkler pulls Miller into guard.

Winkler is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miller is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winkler is adopting a defensive guard. Winkler trying to control the position.
Miller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Winkler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winkler wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Winkler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Winkler is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Winkler wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Winkler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Winkler trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Winkler controls from within his opponent's guard. Miller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rolf Winkler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Winkler shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Winkler passes to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Winkler cracks Miller with an elbow. That is naaassty. Winkler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rolf Winkler has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Winkler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Miller wants to control but Winkler postures up. Winkler is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Miller is trying to escape and Winkler transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Miller is forced to tap! Nice work there by Winkler! Very nice indeed!
