Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Lidae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Goodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidae comes to the cage accompanied by Lighters. Goodman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: lady Gaga. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Goodman misses the target.
A combination from Lidae does no damage.
Lidae ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goodman moves away.
Goodman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lidae fails to land the takedown.
Lidae takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Goodman connects with a single shot there.
Lidae throws a leg kick but Goodman sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Goodman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lidae throws a hook to the side of Goodman's head but Goodman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Goodman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lidae tries to close the distance and clinch up but Goodman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lidae throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lidae cracks Goodman with an open hand slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lidae closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lidae stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Goodman dips to his left and cracks Lidae with an uppercut!
Lidae moves forwards but Goodman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Goodman.
Lidae throws the left hand but Goodman avoids the punch easily.

Goodman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lidae. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lidae has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Goodman defend it? Lidae steps over the head and cranks it - Goodman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lidae!

A relieved looking Steven Lidae thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
