The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fertus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fertus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Li to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fertus pushes Li off and scrambles back to his feet.

Fertus throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fertus drops Li with a beautiful combination! Li stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fertus is looking for the KO!
Li is rocked!
It looks like Freddy Li has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fertus counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Li to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Fertus!
