The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Slicer coming out on top.
It looks like Robin Vanhood has been cut.
Vanhood misses with a low kick.
Vanhood scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Slicer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slicer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vanhood.
Slicer thows a body kick. Vanhood tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Slicer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vanhood.
Donk. Slicer catches Vanhood right on the button with a cross.
Slicer darts in and clinches Vanhood up against the cage.
Slicer just leaning against Vanhood, taking a breather.
Slicer lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That has opened up Robin Vanhood's cut even more.
Slicer prevents Vanhood from breaking the clinch.
Slicer connects with a knee to the head.
Slicer softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
The cut above Robin Vanhood's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Slicer misses with a punch on the inside.
Vanhood wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Slicer has him pressed against the cage.
Slicer stalling in the clinch.
Slicer connects with a nasty looking knee right to Vanhood's face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slicer misses with a knee to the head.
Slicer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vanhood backwards.
Robin Vanhood's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Slicer tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Vanhood blocks an uppercut.
Vanhood tries to break the clinch but Slicer is controlling the position.
Slicer lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robin Vanhood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johny Slicer!
Johny Slicer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
