The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy closes the distance and clinches.
Hardy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hardy misses with a knee strike.
Hardy lands a right hand.
Hardy tries to stall but Del Rio uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hardy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hardy shoots for a double leg takedown but Del Rio sprawls well. He's pushed Hardy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Del Rio swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardy.
Del Rio looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hardy!
Del Rio could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
