The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Zemli Funtov has been cut.

Boleslav gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Funtov has Boleslav pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Boleslav manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Boleslav is trying to break the clinch but Funtov is controlling him.
Funtov wants to take the fight to the mat but Boleslav manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Boleslav pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Boleslav throws a head kick but Funtov moves out of range.
Boleslav tries to land a front kick but Funtov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boleslav looks to land a body kick but Funtov moved away.
Funtov closes the distance and clinches up with Boleslav, looking for a takedown. Funtov pushes Boleslav against the cage but Boleslav circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aleksander Boleslav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zemli Funtov.
Funtov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boleslav sprawls well. Boleslav wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Funtov gets slowly back to his feet.
Funtov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boleslav circles away.

Boleslav is bucking up trying to escape but Funtov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Funtov cracks Boleslav with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
