Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bubba Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaz Inad! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inad slips under a jab from Frank. Frank slaps away a takedown attempt from Inad, before circling back to the center of the mat. Frank is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Inad tries to clinch but fails miserably and Frank counters with a straight right hand. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Frank!
Frank throws the left hand but Inad avoids the punch easily. Frank with a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Inad tries to clinch but Frank moves out of range. Inad slips a straight right by Frank. Inad looks to clinch and Frank counters with a straight right hand. Inad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frank avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frank misses with a straight right. Frank steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Inad. Inad throws a big shot that misses. Inad tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Frank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Inad throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Inad closes the distance looking to clinch and Inad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inad takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frank shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Frank controlling his opponent. Inad is looking to improve his position but Frank isn't that keen on the idea. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frank sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inad in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Frank controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inad is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frank looking to ground and pound but Inad is blocking nicely. Frank controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba Frank dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Inad moves out of range as Frank strikes. Frank connects with a good right hand that stumbles Inad. Inad circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Frank tries to bum rush Inad with a series of wild strikes but Inad uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Frank misses with a looping left. Frank tests Inad's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bubba Frank is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Inad tries to clinch up and Frank counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Frank swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Inad counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inad ducks under a wild hook from Frank. Good shot there by Frank. Frank feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Inads jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Inad misses with a jab to the body
and Frank counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Frank is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Frank uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Inad. Inad fails in his attempt to clinch. Inad moves out of range as Frank strikes. Frank fails with a takedown attempt. Inad looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Frank dips to his left and cracks Inad with an uppercut! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Inad tries to clinch but fails miserably and Frank counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Frank connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Inad misses with a jab to the body
and Frank counters with a nice double leg into side control. Inad won't be happy with that. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Inad can do anything to dispel that myth. Frank lands some shots froms side control. Frank slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Inad being controlled for a moment. Frank trying to control the position but Inad is working away. Frank is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Inad can do to turn this around? Inad is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frank is putting a hurting on Inad here, landing some big shots from side control. Frank working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Inad defending against the ground and pound. Frank trying to control the action but Inad is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frank is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Inad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba Frank dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Frank scores with a crisp jab that stopped Inad in his tracks. Inad defending well as Frank loads up on a big left hand. Inad drives through and clinches with Frank against the cage.
Frank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Frank throws a hook but Inad blocks it. Bubba Frank is winning the standup battle so far. Frank bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Inad's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Frank uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Inad has time to react. Frank waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Inad. Inad tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Frank stalks Inad and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Inad's face. Inad staggers backwards, shaken. Inad tries to clinch and Inad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Inad closes the distance but Frank moves to the side and Frank counters with a stiff right hand. Inad thows a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frank throws a jab but it's blocked by Inad. Frank just misses with a punch to the body.

Frank looks to land a left hand but Inad moved out of range nicely. Frank stuns Inad with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Frank cracks Inad with a good jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frank throws a lazy right hand but Inad sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Frank works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Frank connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Inad momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inad looks to throw the jab but Frank is out of range. Inad tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Frank counter with a right hand. Inad has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Frank is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Inad. Inad takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Frank throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Inad looks to clinch and Frank counters with a two punch combo. Inad takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Some wild striking there from Inad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inad closes the distance but Frank moves to the side and Inad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Frank looks to land a left hand but Inad moved out of range nicely. Frank blocks a jab. Frank throws a good cross that connects.
This has been an exciting period of action! Frank scores with a one two! Inad had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Inad looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank is just out of range. Kaz Inad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Inad drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Inad misses with a straight left. Frank will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that's the end of the fight! Bubba Frank showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Frank, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
