Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilfredo Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Szogun Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rua's choice of entrance music: Infected Mushroom - I Wish. Wilfredo Newman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua misses with a looping right.
Newman throws the left hand but Rua avoids the punch easily.
Newman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rua was well out of range. Poor timing from Newman.
Newman throws a jab but it's blocked by Rua.
Newman is looking to score with low kicks.
Newman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Newman!
It looks like Szogun Rua has been cut.
Rua lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rua's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Newman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rua scrambles back to his feet.
Newman throws the left hand but Rua avoids the punch easily.
Newman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rua sprawling to the canvas! Rua rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Newman finish him?!

Newman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Newman is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Newman tries to work over Rua's front leg with a kick but Rua checks it.
Newman throws out a loose jab but Rua uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Rua. That's going to slow Newman down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Newman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rua under the eye.

Newman cracks Rua with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rua. Newman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Donk. Newman catches Rua right on the button with a cross.
Rua slips under a jab from Newman.
Newman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Newman pounces like a tiger and cracks Rua with a vicious hook! Rua is down but not out! Newman follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Wilfredo Newman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
