The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drost's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ramos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Drost scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Doomsday Drost has been cut.
Ramos throws a right and a left that Drost avoids nicely.
Ramos walks into a stiff left hand from Drost.
It looks like Emilio Ramos has been cut.
Ramos tries to bum rush Drost with a series of wild strikes but Drost uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ramos misses with a series of wild punches.
Drost gets a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drost working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Drost winds up and cracks Ramos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That has opened up Emilio Ramos's cut even more.
