Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Huffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huffman comes into the arena with Bad Company blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Huffman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Colon!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huffman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Huffman throws out a leg kick but Colon moves out of range and Huffman only half commits.
Huffman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Huffman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Colon throws a right hand that Huffman ducks under and follows up with a left that Huffman also avoids with ease.
Huffman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Huffman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Colon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Huffman won't be happy with that.
Colon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Huffman, who protects the arm well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Colon has hold of Huffman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Huffman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Colon cranks the arm and Huffman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Huffman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Roberto Colon!
