Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Angelez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Bray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Angelez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Bray! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bray shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Angelez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bray's guard now. Angelez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bray, up you get! Angelez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bray back to the cage. Angelez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Justin Bray has been cut. Bray looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Angelez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bray! Angelez lands with some strikes. Angelez content just to control the position here. Angelez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bray for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angelez has hold of Bray's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bray manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Angelez looking to control and managing it successfully. Angelez raining down shots from the mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Angelez controlling from mount. Angelez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Angelez lands with some strikes.
That has opened up Justin Bray's cut even more. Angelez working for a submission but Bray is keeping him at bay. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angelez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Angelez raining down hammerfists from mount.
The cut above Justin Bray's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Angelez controlling the pace for now. Angelez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Justin Bray's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Justin Bray's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dan Angelez!
