Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Brealey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cope comes to the cage accompanied by Let's Go. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Cope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Brealey! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brealey looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brealey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cope displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brealey throws out the jab. Cope shoots in but Brealey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cope uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brealey. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brealey. The fighters circling - Cope throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big right from Brealey misses. A kick lands to the mid section there for Cope. Brealey misses with a wild combination.
Cope jabs at Brealey's body. Cope scores with a sloppy right hand. Brealey should have avoided that one. Brealey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cope manages to avoid it. Brealey drops his hands momentarily and Cope takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Brealey cracks Cope with a right hand to the side of the head. Cope motions for Brealey to come forward. Cope throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Cope throws a nice looking combination but Brealey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A clash of legs there as Brealey blocks the low kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cope throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cope cracks Brealey with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cope shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cope was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cope unloads with some shots from mount but Brealey bucks and avoids them well.
Cope with a couple of short strikes. Brealey can't escape the position.
Cope fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cope with shots to the head and body - Brealey looks very uncomfortable down there. Brealey is desperately trying to improve his position but Cope has a good base and remains in mount. Cope landing strikes, looking to finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cope fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cope with shots to the head and body - Brealey looks very uncomfortable down there. Brealey is working to get back to half guard.
Brealey is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cope landing strikes from the mount. Brealey takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cope is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cope has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brealey's face.
Brealey takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Brealey wants to control but Cope is having none of it. Brealey is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cope has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brealey's face.
Cope raining down hammerfists from mount. Cope with the ground and pound from mount. Cope with shots to the head and body - Brealey looks very uncomfortable down there.
Brealey is rocked! Cope punishing his opponent with strikes. Brealey is still in real trouble! Can Cope finish him? Cope is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cope looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Brealey covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Cope! After the fight, Mike Cope was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
