The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcao closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fredriksson quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Karlos Falcao will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Falcao tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Falcao looks to land a combination. Fredriksson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Fredriksson is working for a kimura here but Falcao manages to reverse the position and he's now in Fredriksson's guard.
Falcao decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Karlos Falcao.
Well Falcao has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
