Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SyvesterSegul VandammeChuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but VandammeChuck paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A big left from VandammeChuck misses.
Thai tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. VandammeChuck manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
VandammeChuck misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

VandammeChuck throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thai sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Thai looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

VandammeChuck has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from VandammeChuck there as he acknowledges the shot.
VandammeChuck feints a jab promting Thai to slip. VandammeChuck then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thai slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Thai is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
VandammeChuck dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Thai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thai fails with an attempt to clinch.
VandammeChuck cracks Thai with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Thai tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but VandammeChuck pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Thai is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
