Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arshad Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh's entrance music is Check it out. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arshad Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Sol! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Singh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Singh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Singh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Singh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sol manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Singh dives in and grabs Sol's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sol pushes down on Singh's head and hops out. Singh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Singh fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sol. Singh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Singh shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Singh was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sol is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh punching from mount but Sol doing a good job of avoiding damage. Singh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sol is trying to escape the mount.

Sol is squirming around, avoiding Singh's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sol misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Singh pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Singh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sol manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Singh trying to control but Sol is working from the bottom. Singh wants to pass the guard but Sol is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sol throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Singh trying to control the position from guard on top but Sol is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Arshad Singh wasn't doing enough on the ground. Singh moves into the clinch. Singh just leaning against Sol, taking a breather. Singh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Singh doesn't manage to clinch there - Sol circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Singh swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sol counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Singh holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Sol looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Singh avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sol. Singh is holding on to half guard well. Singh looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh is pressing down on Sol's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Arshad Singh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Singh is trying to control the position but Sol postures up. Singh is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sol scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Sol postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sol is one step ahead there. Sol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Singh thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Singh is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sol is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sol postures up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Singh holds on and takes a little breather.
Arshad Singh has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Singh wants to clinch up but Sol keeps it at a distance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Singh throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sol. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Singh has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arshad Singh dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Sol slips a jab and a cross from Singh.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sol looks to land a right hand but Singh moved out of range. Sol displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Singh. Singh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sol as he jumps to the side. Singh is looking to clinch but Sol is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sol fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Singh scoring well with a low kick there.
Sol shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Singh but Singh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sol drives through with a takedown into guard. Singh throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh tries to control but Sol wriggling away. Singh wants to control the action but instead Sol gets a body lock and reverses into Singh's guard! Nice work! Sol scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sol missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Singh is controlling Sol's posture. Sol postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sol throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Singh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Arshad Singh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sol tries to free his leg and advance position but Singh is retaining full guard. Singh trying to keep a closed guard but Sol is proving a slippery customer.
Singh has control of Sol's left arm, preventing Sol from doing any damage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Arshad Singh just wasn't active enough. Singh gets a double leg takedown into Sol's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sol working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Singh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Singh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Singh sitting in guard, not really doing much. Singh wants to control from the top but Sol keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Arshad Singh showed his dominance in that final round. Well Singh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
