Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kook Killa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Imer!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa avoids the head kick by Imer.
Imer scores with a nice strike.
Killa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Imer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Killa gets caught napping as Imer dives in and scores a takedown. Killa manages to retain guard.
Imer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Imer trying to control the position from guard on top but Killa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Imer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Richard Imer wasn't active enough on the ground.
Killa throws a low kick, looking for Imer's leg but Imer calmly moves out of range.
Killa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Imer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Killa under the eye.
Killa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Imer.
Imer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Killa throws a sloppy head kick and Imer moves out of range easily.
Imer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Imer walks into a left hand.
Killa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Imer lands a really nice looking cross but Killa seems unphased.
Imer lands a hook that stumbles Killa back into the cage. Imer follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Killa to the canvas! Imer pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Killa has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Richard Imer!
