The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Allon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Allon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paris.

and Paris makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Allon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Horrible takedown by Allon or perhaps it was just good defense by Paris which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Paris smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Paris jabs Allon right on the nose. Allon blinks but takes it well.
Paris takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gim Allon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paris fails with the takedown.
Paris lands a nice shot that snaps Allon's head back.

and Paris counters with a crisp right that sends Allon to the canvas! Paris follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Johnny Lee Paris thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
