Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Madara Uchiha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Uchiha plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Uchiha throws out a leg kick but Smith moves out of range and Uchiha only half commits.
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Uchiha had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily.

Uchiha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Uchiha is looking to sinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Uchiha's body to avoid the submission. Uchiha has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Uchiha arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
