The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Butcher throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Harvath uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Butcher.
Butcher takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Harvath takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Harvath gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Dirk Harvath has been cut.
Harvath misses with an uppercut. Butcher saw that one coming.
A nice leg kick lands there from Harvath.
Harvath drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Butcher throws a half hearted mid kick.
Harvath uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Butcher.
Harvath steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Butcher.
Harvath attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A head kick by Butcher misses
and Harvath counters with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harvath takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Butcher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Butcher lands with a shot to the body.
Butcher throws a lazy right hand but Harvath sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Butcher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Harvath has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Harvath and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Butcher works Harvath's body with a nice hook.
Harvath throws a solid leg kick but Butcher takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Harvath.
Butcher throws a leg kick but Harvath moved away.
Harvath throws a looping overhand right but Butcher ducks down to avoid it.
Butcher rushes Harvath and presses him up against the cage.
Harvath tries to stall but Butcher uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harvath tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Butcher smiles and moves away.
Butcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harvath drops his hands momentarily and Butcher takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butcher blocks a head kick by Harvath.
Butcher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Butcher tests Harvath's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Harvath steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Butcher. That one must have hurt.
Butcher connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Butcher thuds his right hand into Harvath's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harvath throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice defenses there by Butcher.
Butcher throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Harvath.
Butcher throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Harvath counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Harvath on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Harvath misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Butcher scores with a jab to the head.
Harvath is rocked!
Percival Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harvath throws a left and a right that both miss
and Butcher counters with a slapping leg kick.
Harvath is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?
Butcher lands a big head kick that sends Harvath to the canvas! Butcher follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Percival Butcher seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
