Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Jennings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Kick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Jennings!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kick moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jennings manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kick on his heels. He'll look to pass Kick's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kick has momentary wrist control but Jennings slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jennings working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jennings stands up over Kick, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jennings throws a big elbow that misses.
Kick wants to stand but Jennings is controlling the position.
Kick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jennings on the ground.
Jennings keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kick's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jennings controls the pace.

Jennings has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jennings sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kick's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kick takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jennings throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kick tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jennings is in Kick's guard.

Jennings has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kick is in trouble now - Jennings has advanced to mount!

Kick is bucking up trying to escape but Jennings cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Kick is rocked!
Jennings postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Kick out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Jennings goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
