Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey McFinnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hawk Seibold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFinnigan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is My Drunken Irish Dad. Seibold has chosen SCOTTISH PIPE as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey McFinnigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hawk Seibold!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFinnigan throws a leg kick but Seibold checks it.
McFinnigan misses with an uppercut
and Seibold counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
McFinnigan avoids the body shot from Seibold.
Nice body kick there by McFinnigan.
Seibold will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McFinnigan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Seibold.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seibold looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McFinnigan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
McFinnigan misses with a head kick.
McFinnigan misses the jab.
McFinnigan throws a head kick that misses.
Seibold avoids a kick to the body.
Mickey McFinnigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McFinnigan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Seibold moves away.
Seibold shoots in looking for a takedown but McFinnigan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seibold's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mickey McFinnigan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hawk Seibold.
McFinnigan throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Seibold counters with a nice double leg into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
McFinnigan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Seibold!

McFinnigan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
McFinnigan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
McFinnigan controlling the pace for now.
McFinnigan looking to ground and pound but Seibold is blocking nicely.

McFinnigan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
McFinnigan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seibold is looking to improve his position but McFinnigan isn't that keen on the idea.
Seibold wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by McFinnigan.
A nice elbow there by McFinnigan.
McFinnigan is landing with some decent strikes but Seibold is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
McFinnigan putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Seibold tries to hold on but McFinnigan postures up.
McFinnigan landing strikes, looking to finish!


It looks like Hawk Seibold has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McFinnigan postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Seibold out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! McFinnigan goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mickey McFinnigan!
Mickey McFinnigan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
