The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws a head kick that misses.
Ward throws a sloppy head kick and Haze moves out of range easily.
A head kick misses from Ward.
Ward ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haze moves away.
Ward misses with a body shot.
Ward is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ward misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haze blocks a head kick by Ward.
Ward throws a sloppy head kick and Haze moves out of range easily.
Haze shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ward but Ward pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ward misses the shot to the body.
Ward throws a leg kick but Haze sees it coming and moves out of range.

Haze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Haze lands in his opponent's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Haze drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ward manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Haze has Ward in his guard.
Haze is trying to control the position but Ward postures up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ward is sitting in close to Haze's body. Haze has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ward is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ward is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Haze.
