Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tat Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tj Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wash has chosen you dont know as his entrance music. tj Wash is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tat Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, tj Wash! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wash throws a head kick that misses. Wash looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Taylor! Taylor is looking to improve his position but Wash isn't that keen on the idea. Wash is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Taylor is surviving well by controlling Wash's body position as best he can. Wash thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Taylor tries to reverse the position but Wash maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor is working hard here to advance position. Taylor tries to control Wash's body but Wash pushes him off. Taylor squirms to his side and now Wash has his back! Wash is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wash is looking for the choke from the back position but Taylor is controlling his hands well. Taylor preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Wash. Wash working for a choke but Taylor is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor wants to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wash missing with punches from the back. Wash working for a choke but Taylor is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor just trying to survive but Wash is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Taylor fending off the submission attempt from Wash. Wash misses with an elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wash looking for the choke from the back. Taylor tries to roll but Wash sticks to his back.
Taylor turns into Wash and is now in his guard.
Wash keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Taylor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wash has his hands on Taylor's head, controlling the position. Taylor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wash on the ground. Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but Wash is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
tj Wash dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wash throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wash is in Taylor's guard. Taylor is trying to control the position but Wash postures up. Taylor is pulling down on Wash's head to control his posture. Taylor keeping moving, preventing Wash from controlling successfully. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wash is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Taylor throws a right hand that Wash ducks under and follows up with a left that Wash also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor misses with a wild body shot. Taylor uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wash. Taylor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wash ducks under a wild hook from Taylor. Taylor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Taylor throws a leg kick that misses. tj Wash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wash tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Taylor shoots in looking for a takedown but Wash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Taylor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wash misses the body punch and Taylor counters with a takedown into side control. Wash tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Taylor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Taylor slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wash dodges the ground and pound from Taylor. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor tries to move to mount but Wash blocks the move with his legs. Taylor scoring with punches from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wash managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Taylor.
Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wash keeps working. Wash parries the strikes from Taylor easily there. Taylor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Wash to escape.
Taylor working away. Taylor working the ground and pound from side control. Taylor controlling the position from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wash is not content to let Taylor control the position. Wash tries to improve position but can't. Taylor working the ground and pound but Wash is defending the strikes. Tat Taylor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wash is trying to buck Taylor off. Wash is not content to let Taylor control the position. Taylor cracks Wash with a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wash keeps working. Taylor working the ground and pound from side control. Wash tries to bench press Taylor off him but Taylor keeps the position. Wash is letting Taylor control him for a moment. Taylor lands a nice forearm strike. Taylor trying to control the action but Wash is working from the bottom. Wash seems a little lost for a moment, as Taylor dominates the positioning. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wash is trying to buck Taylor off. Taylor content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tat Taylor dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Wash shoots in and bounces Taylor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Taylor seems keen to control Wash's posture. Wash won't allow Taylor to sweep him here. Wash wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wash stopping the sweep attempt from Taylor. Wash loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wash pushing down on Taylor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wash wants to control but Taylor is keeping him busy. Taylor is trying to maintain the position but Wash is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wash is thwarting Taylor's attempts to control the position.
Tat Taylor has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Taylor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Wash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wash moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Taylor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wash keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wash has hold of Taylor's hands but Taylor slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wash is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Taylor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wash on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Taylor trying to control from Wash's half guard. Wash has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but Wash is retaining full guard. Wash wants to sweep but no luck. Taylor forces his way into half guard. Wash takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wash pushes Taylor off but Taylor dives into side control.
Taylor trying to control the action but Wash is working from the bottom. Taylor taking a breather here. Taylor working away. Wash is not content to let Taylor control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taylor tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wash's legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Tat Taylor showed his dominance in that final round. Well Taylor has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
