The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weston feints and as Thacker raises his hands in defense, Weston changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Thacker looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Weston postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Weston is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weston's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Weston gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Weston gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Weston pulls guard effortlessly.

Weston uses the cage to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Weston darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Weston is nestled in close to Thacker , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Weston has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Weston throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Thacker has his hands clasped together but Weston breaks the hold and Thacker is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Weston!
