Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanton Friedmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Nas - Hate Me Now. Friedmon has chosen Come Get on the Ho Train as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stanton Friedmon!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friedmon slips under a jab.
Friedmon's corner calls for a 1-2. Friedmon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Friedmon closes the distance but Daniels moves to the side
and Daniels counters with a left to the body.
Friedmon takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Daniels throws a right and a left that both miss.
Friedmon doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.
Friedmon slips a straight right by Daniels.
Daniels fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Friedmon manages to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Daniels swinging wildly here.
Friedmon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Daniels lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Daniels throws out a loose jab but Friedmon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Daniels throws a right and a left that both miss.
Daniels throws a series of punches but Friedmon moves out of range.
Friedmon tries to close the distance and clinch but Daniels swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt.
Friedmon wants to clinch.
Friedmon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Friedmon instigates a clinch.

Daniels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daniels throws a body punch but Friedmon moves out of range.
Daniels swats away the attempt to clinch by Friedmon.

Daniels gets tackled into the cage by Friedmon. Friedmon maintains the clinch.
Friedmon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Daniels breaks the clinch.
Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daniels throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Friedmon doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.
Friedmon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jack Daniels is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daniels lands a right hook to the body.
Daniels lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Decent striking displayed by Daniels there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daniels throws a series of punches but Friedmon moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Friedmon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniels misses with a few strikes there.
Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Friedmon scores with a hook to the body. Daniels takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Daniels keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


Friedmon is rocked!
Friedmon tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Daniels counters with a nice body shot.
Friedmon is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Daniels is looking to wear down Friedmon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Daniels dances in with a quick combination. Friedmon is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Daniels snaps Friedmon's head back. Friedmon stumbles backwards against the cage. Daniels steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Friedmon's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Friedmon just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Daniels!
In his post fight interview, Jack Daniels started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
