Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sync Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silver Salmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sync Fowler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Silver Salmon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sync Fowler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silver Salmon! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fowler closes the distance and clinches up with Salmon, looking for a takedown. Fowler pushes Salmon against the cage but Salmon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Salmon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fowler shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Salmon napping and manages to drive through into side control! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fowler tries for a kimura but Salmon is defending well. Fowler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fowler swings around for an armbar but Salmon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fowler's guard. Salmon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fowler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Salmon, into his guard. Salmon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fowler off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Salmon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fowler avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salmon. Sync Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silver Salmon. Salmon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fowler to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fowler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fowler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Salmon's guard. Fowler is trying to work for a kimura but Salmon is defending well.
Fowler seems to be working for a kimura but Salmon defends the submission attempt. Fowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salmon is defending against the submission attempts here by Fowler.
Fowler is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Salmon has managed to free his arm - good work. Fowler frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fowler goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Salmon is on top in guard.
Salmon won't allow Fowler to get back to his feet. Salmon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fowler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fowler has escaped and now he's on top! Fowler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Salmon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fowler, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fowler is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Salmon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fowler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Salmon has Fowler in his guard. Salmon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fowler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salmon keeping moving, preventing Fowler from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sync Fowler dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fowler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salmon sprawls well. Salmon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fowler gets slowly back to his feet. Salmon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fowler is fending him off so far but Salmon persists. Nope, Fowler circles away and we're back to standing. Fowler looks for a takedown but Salmon sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Salmon or perhaps it was just good defense by Fowler which made him look bad. Fowler closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salmon's guard. Fowler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Salmon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fowler has Salmon in his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fowler pushes Salmon off and gets back to his feet.
Salmon shoots for a double leg takedown but Fowler sprawls well. He's pushed Salmon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sync Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silver Salmon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salmon with a lazy takedown attempt and Fowler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Salmon's guard. Fowler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Salmon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Salmon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Salmon! Fowler sneaks out the side door and pushes Salmon away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Fowler gets a double leg takedown into Salmon's guard. Sync Fowler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fowler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Salmon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fowler has Salmon in his guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fowler has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Salmon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Fowler gets a takedown into half guard. Fowler seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fowler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Salmon sees it coming and defends easily. Fowler wants to work for an arm triangle but Salmon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
