The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulfo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Corleone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tulfo somewhat.
Nice takedown defense from Corleone. No joy for Tulfo on that attempt.
Tulfo shoots in and drives through. Corleone sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erwin Tulfo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tulfo closes the distance and clinches up with Corleone, looking for a takedown. Tulfo pushes Corleone against the cage but Corleone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tulfo fails to land the takedown.
Erwin Tulfo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tulfo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Corleone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tulfo doesn't seem bothered though.
Tulfo is breathing heavily.

Tulfo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Corleone cracks Tulfo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tulfo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Corleone finish him?
It looks like Erwin Tulfo has been cut.
Corleone throws a leg kick but Tulfo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Corleone walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Tulfo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Corleone swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Tulfo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gus Corleone!
