Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jens Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jens Johansson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Warner!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johansson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Johansson misses with a wild body shot.
Johansson misses with a straight left.
Johansson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Warner.
Johansson throws a right and a left that Warner avoids nicely.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warner is working for a guillotine from mount but Johansson frees his head quite easily.
Warner is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Johansson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Johansson shrugs it off.
Johansson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Warner on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johansson is desperately trying to improve his position but Warner has a good base and remains in mount.
Warner swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Johansson is now in Warner's guard. A big mistake from Warner there, giving up the dominant position!

Johansson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Warner has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johansson is looking to defend but Warner has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johansson! Warner pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johansson taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jay Warner!
Jay Warner is the new lightweight champion!
After winning the bout, Jay Warner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
