Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maven Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maven Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hunter Dodson! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into Dodson's guard. Dodson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dodson clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage. Dodson jumps into guard, dragging Miller to the mat.
Dodson has his feet on Miller's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hunter Dodson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller is breathing heavily. Dodson moves into the clinch. Dodson stalling against the cage.
Miller is trying to pull guard but Dodson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Dodson pulls guard effortlessly. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dodson is pulling down on Miller's head. It's preventing any offense from Miller, at least for the moment. Dodson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily. Dodson is looking to sweep but instead, Miller has passed into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dodson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dodson. Dodson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miller is aware though and is defending well. Dodson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well. Dodson wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dodson is pulling down on Miller's head to control his posture. Dodson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him. Dodson is pulling down on Miller's head. It's preventing any offense from Miller, at least for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hunter Dodson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dodson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dodson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dodson counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard. Dodson stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dodson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dodson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dodson controlling the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Dodson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dodson clinches up against the cage. Dodson displaying some good clinch control by pressing Miller up against the cage. Dodson has Miller pressed against the cage, preventing Miller from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dodson jumps guard and drags Miller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dodson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dodson can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller stops Dodson from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson has his hands on Miller's head, controlling the position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Hunter Dodson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dodson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dodson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dodson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Miller has hold of Dodson's hands but Dodson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dodson connects with a nice short shot to Miller's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dodson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dodson. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dodson stands up out of the half guard. Miller tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dodson is aware though and is defending well. Dodson stands up and waves to Miller to follow him. Dodson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dodson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Miller is defending well for now. Dodson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Millers head. Dodson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dodson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dodson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dodson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dodson feints and as Miller raises his hands in defense, Dodson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dodson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Miller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hunter Dodson has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dodson stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Dodson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Dodson seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dodson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dodson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miller pinned against the cage. Miller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dodson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dodson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dodson is looking for a kimura but Miller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dodson to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dodson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Dodson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dodson trying to control the pace. Miller actively working from the bottom here. Dodson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Dodson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

And that's the end of the fight! Hunter Dodson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dodson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
