Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quazi Moto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quazi Moto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quazi Moto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Lidell! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lidell shoots in and drives through. Moto sprawls well. Moto thows a body shot but no joy. Moto throws a series of punches but Lidell moves out of range. Moto misses with a wild combination.
Moto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lidell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lidell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Nice uppercut there from Moto. Lidell tries to clinch but Moto moves out of range. Quazi Moto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lidell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moto.
Lidell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lidell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lidell walks into a straight right hand from Moto.
It looks like Chuck Lidell has been cut. Lidell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moto's half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lidell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lidell is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lidell stalling away here and it's allowed Moto to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Lidell throws a big right hand that misses. Moto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lidell controls the pace. Moto is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lidell controlling from the top position. Moto keeping moving, preventing Lidell from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Chuck Lidell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lidell shoots in for a double leg but Moto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Quazi Moto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Lidell. Lidell on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lidell shoots for a double leg takedown but Moto sprawls well. He's pushed Lidell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lidell tries to clinch up but Moto circles away and keeps his distance. Lidell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lidell looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moto keeping moving, preventing Lidell from controlling successfully. Moto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Moto is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lidell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lidell looking to sit in guard and control but Moto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lidell throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Moto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lidell has his hands on Moto's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lidell scores with a jab to the head.
Moto works over Lidell's head and body with a nice combination. Moto misses with a two punch combination.
Lidell tries to close the distance and clinch but Moto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Moto. Those never looked like landing. Lidell slips a jab and a cross from Moto.
No joy there for Moto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moto misses the shot to the body. Lidell fails with a takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moto changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Quazi Moto will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Chuck Lidell's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lidell instigates a clinch. Lidell's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Lidell manages to break the clinch.
Lidell misses with a takedown attempt - Moto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Moto with a nice cross. Moto cracks a nice hook into Lidell's ribs. Lidell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A jab from Moto finds it's way through Lidell's defenses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lidell wants to clinch. Moto throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lidell is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lidell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Quazi Moto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Moto cracks Lidell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lidell fails with a takedown attempt. Moto looks to land a combination but Lidell avoids it well. Moto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Moto seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lidell sitting in guard, not really doing much. Moto is pulling down on Lidell's head. It's preventing any offense from Lidell, at least for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Quazi Moto wasn't doing enough on the ground. Lidell tries to clinch up. Lidell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moto finds it's way round the side to connect with Lidell's head. Lidell scores with a three punch combo!

Moto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moto wants it to stay on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moto shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lidell eats them both and turns towards Moto to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Moto scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Moto feints a jab promting Lidell to slip. Moto then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lidell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Sloppy strikes from Moto. Those never looked like landing. Lidell doesn't manage to clinch there - Moto circles away.
Moto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lidell was well out of range. Poor timing from Moto. Lidell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moto sprawls well. Moto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lidell gets slowly back to his feet. Moto misses with a wild body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moto lands a nice shot that snaps Lidell's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lidell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lidell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Moto.

Moto thows a body shot but no joy. Quazi Moto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Moto throws a nice looking combination but Lidell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lidell misses with a takedown attempt - Moto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. An inside leg kick lands from Lidell. Moto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lidell lets loose with a powerful body kick. Moto will feel that in the morning. Lidell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lidell tries to clinch but Moto moves out of range. Lidell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moto is fending him off so far but Lidell persists. Nope, Moto circles away and we're back to standing. Lidell shoots for a takedown but Moto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Quazi Moto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Lidell. Lidell moves in looking to clinch but Moto pushes him off. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moto lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lidell feints and as Moto raises his hands in defense, Lidell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lidell trying to control but Moto is working from the bottom. Lidell forces his way into half guard. Moto looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lidell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lidell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Chuck Lidell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Moto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Moto stuffs the takedown. Moto scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Moto gets caught napping as Lidell dives in and scores a takedown. Moto manages to retain guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lidell slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Moto. Moto pushes Lidell off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lidell thows a body shot but no joy. Lidell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Moto bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lidell's head. Moto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lidell fails with a takedown attempt. Lidell takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Moto throws a right and a left that both miss. Moto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lidell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lidell ducks right into an uppercut from Moto. Lidell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lidell is in Moto's guard. Lidell wants to control from the top but Moto keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moto keeping full guard, as Lidell tries to pass. Lidell trying to control but Moto is working from the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chuck Lidell hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Lidell tries to clinch up. Moto scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Chuck Lidell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quazi Moto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. This has been an exciting period of action! Lidell misses with a double jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Lidell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Moto has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
