Calypso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Jack Calypso will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad tries for a takedown but Calypso circles away easily
and Calypso counters with a nice uppercut.
Vlad shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Calypso counters with a left and a right that stings Vlad.
Jack Calypso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vlad shoots and misses
and Calypso counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vlad's guard now.

Calypso wants to pass the guard but Vlad is keeping the position.

Calypso working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Calypso lands a big shot there that rocks Vlad but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Calypso postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Vlad out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Calypso goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
