Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gibki Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Jack Calypso will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Gibki Vlad! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlad tries for a takedown but Calypso circles away easily and Calypso counters with a nice uppercut. Vlad shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Calypso counters with a left and a right that stings Vlad. Jack Calypso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vlad shoots and misses and Calypso counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vlad's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gibki Vlad. That's going to take a lot out of him. Calypso wants to pass the guard but Vlad is keeping the position. Vlad wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Vlad trying to keep a closed guard but Calypso is proving a slippery customer.
Calypso trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vlad looking to hit a scissor sweep but Calypso is one step ahead there. Calypso looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vlad has control of Calypso's left arm, preventing Calypso from doing any damage. Vlad keeping full guard, as Calypso tries to pass. Calypso advances to half guard. Vlad actively working from the bottom here. Vlad is looking to improve his position.
Calypso is looking to advance position but Vlad won't allow it. Vlad is controlling Calypso's trapped leg to prevent Calypso from advancing to side control. Calypso looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Vlad is looking for a sweep. Calypso is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Vlad is working hard here to advance position. Calypso lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vlad is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Calypso scores with a couple of nice shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Calypso trying to mount his opponent but Vlad defends it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Calypso thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vlad is in trouble now - Calypso has advanced to mount! Calypso cracks Vlad with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Calypso content just to control the position here. Calypso wants to control the pace but Vlad is squirming around nicely. Vlad is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vlad tries to hold on but Calypso postures up. Calypso landing strikes from the mount and Vlad is in trouble!

Calypso fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vlad gets back to half guard. Calypso wants to take a breather but Vlad is having none of it. Calypso working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Vlad tries to roll over but Calypso keeps him under control. Calypso has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Calypso raining down shots from the mount! Vlad wants to hold on but Calypso pushes him away. Calypso has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Calypso trying to control but he's not successful this time. Vlad is looking to improve his position but Calypso isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calypso lands a big shot there that rocks Vlad but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Calypso postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Vlad out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Calypso goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
