Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cain Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Pressley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the ring accompanied by Sub-Mission. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Cain Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Darren Pressley! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pressley looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mir trying to control the position from guard on top but Pressley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mir slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pressley is trying to keep Mir in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Good leg kick by Pressley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pressley has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mir. Pressley avoids the head kick by Mir.
Mir throws a head kick that misses. Mir shoots in but Pressley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pressley avoids the head kick by Mir.

Pressley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pressley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Pressley is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Darren Pressley has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Pressley shoots in but no luck this time. Pressley scores with a hook. Mir takes one on the button. Pressley has a takedown stuffed. Cain Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Pressley. Pressley fails to land the takedown. Mir tries a head kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pressley sizes up Mir with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The fighters circle momentarily. Pressley darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Darren Pressley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mir misses with a head kick.
Pressley lands with a right hand.
Mir is rocked! Pressley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Oh Mir is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mir seems a little lost for a moment, as Pressley dominates the positioning. Mir wants to get back to his feet but Pressley drags him back down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pressley decides to stand back up. Mir tries for a takedown but Pressley circles away easily and Pressley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mir's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darren Pressley dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Mir tries a head kick but it misses.
Pressley misses with a takedown attempt and Mir counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Mir seems to have got his legs back now. Mir is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pressley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Pressley lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mir sprawling to the canvas. Pressley follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mir hang on? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mir wants to get back to his feet.
Pressley tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mir controls his leg. Pressley is thwarting Mir's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mir looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pressley prevents Mir from improving his position. Mir has one foot on Pressley's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Darren Pressley seems to be getting the better of the standup. Pressley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Darren Pressley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mir throws a sloppy head kick and Pressley moves out of range easily. Mir walks into a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pressley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mir to the ground. Pressley is now in Mir's guard. Mir looking for subs off his back but Pressley has passed one foot through into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pressley slows the pace down in half guard. Mir is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pressley trying to pass the guard but Mir defending well. Darren Pressley has got the better of the ground game so far. Mir pushes Pressley off looking to stand but Pressley dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mir is looking to get back to full guard here but Pressley has managed to pass to side control instead. Mir prevents Pressley from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pressley trying to control the position but Mir is working away. Pressley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mir to his feet. Pressley throws a right hand that Mir ducks under and follows up with a left that Mir also avoids with ease. Pressley with a body punch. A glancing blow. Pressley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pressley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pressley wants it to stay on the feet. Pressley scores with a hook to the body. Mir takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darren Pressley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Pressley cracks Mir with a right hand to the side of the head. Mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pressley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mir's head. Mir throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pressley. Pressley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pressley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mir sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pressley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mir somewhat. Mir tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pressley tries for a takedown but Mir circles away easily and Mir decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pressley's guard. Cain Mir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Pressley. Pressley keeping moving, preventing Mir from controlling successfully. Pressley is looking to stand up but Mir isn't so interested in that idea. Mir trying to control but Pressley is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pressley is trying to keep Mir in close.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cain Mir wasn't doing enough on the ground. Mir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mir fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mir shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pressley sprawls well. Pressley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mir gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pressley is defended easily by Mir.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mir throws a nice head kick!
Pressley throws a nice looking combination but Mir bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pressley looks to land a left hand but Mir moved out of range nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Pressley.
Mir throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pressley's waist but Pressley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mir off to one side. Pressley throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mir tries for a takedown but Pressley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mir gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pressley to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cain Mir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mir has an active guard here but Pressley has managed to pass into half guard.
Darren Pressley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mir throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Pressley manages to pass to side control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Darren Pressley. Well Pressley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
