The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry tries to clinch but James moves out of range.
Landry swats away the attempt to clinch by James.
Landry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Landry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ian Landry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and James counters with a straight right hand.

and James counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Landry!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
James looking to control but Landry is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Landry has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Landry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

James throws some wild stikes that Landry manages to avoid easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
