The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Clark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Clark stuffs the takedown.
Clark misses with an attempted mid kick.
Houk's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Houk duly obliges.
It looks like Shelby Clark has been cut.
Clark rushes Houk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Houk is looking to break free of the clinch but Clark has double underhooks.
Clark wants the takedown. Houk is fighting it off but Clark persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Houk's guard against the cage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Houk is working an open guard so Clark takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Houk is posturing up here but Clark has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Houk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Houk has to tap! Slick submission there by Clark!
