The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Mike Jones has been cut.
Baker misses with a few strikes there.
Jones slips a jab and a cross from Baker.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baker.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Baker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baker just misses with a punch to the body.
Tom Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baker looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Baker slips under a jab.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Baker pushes him off.
Baker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Baker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jones.

Baker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Baker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A right-left combo lands from Baker.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Baker thows a body shot but no joy.
Baker misses with the combination.
Baker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baker defends it well.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Baker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jones wants to control but Baker is keeping him busy.
Jones is really struggling to control Baker but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jones is looking to advance position but Baker won't allow it.
Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones works his way into side control.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Baker, who protects the arm well.
An elbow from Jones crashes against the mat.
Jones trying to control the action but Baker is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jones tries to control but Baker wriggling away.
Jones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
It looks like Tom Baker has been cut.

That has opened up Tom Baker's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones has control of Baker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Baker regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tom Baker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Mike Jones bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
