Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Gago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bredis Gretcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bredis Gretcott will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Gago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bredis Gretcott! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gretcott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gretcott has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gretcott there as he acknowledges the shot. Gago fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gretcott avoids it really well and circles away. Gago ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gretcott moves away. Gretcott lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Gago throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gago is defended easily by Gretcott. Gretcott drives through and clinches with Gago against the cage.
Gago has picked Gretcott up - he's going for a ride! Gago dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gretcott is trying to stand back up but Gago is controlling him
Gretcott wants to improve his position but Gago is controlling well.
Gago maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gretcott could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gago has cracked it and Gretcott is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gago!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Igor Gago! A less than humble Igor Gago misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
