Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Runnar Borowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Overbury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Borowski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Civil War. Overbury comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rule Britannia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Overbury! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Overbury loads up on a big right hand but Borowski slips the punch. Overbury throws a looping overhand right but Borowski ducks down to avoid it. A big right from Overbury misses. Overbury misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Borowski.
Borowski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Overbury circles away. Thomas Overbury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Borowski takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Overbury lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Runnar Borowski has been cut. Overbury looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Borowski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Overbury. A jab lands there for Overbury. Overbury should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Borowski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Overbury swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Overbury slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Borowski swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Overbury counters with a lovely straight right hand! Overbury wants to clinch up but Borowski keeps it at a distance. Borowski pushes Overbury away with a front kick. Borowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Overbury as he avoids it easily.

Overbury cracks Borowski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Overbury lands a big shot that drops Borowski! Can he finish him?
Borowski is rocked! Borowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Overbury gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Oh Borowski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Overbury content to stall in guard here. Borowski seems to have got his legs back now. Borowski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Overbury! Borowski wants to control the pace but Overbury is squirming around nicely.

Overbury bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Borowski is looking to regain half guard here but Overbury keeps moving and retains side control. Borowski manages to get back to half guard. Borowski wants to get back to full guard. Overbury wants to stand up but Borowski is controlling the position.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Overbury connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Borowski takes a shot right to the bread basket. Borowski misses with a wild body shot. Borowski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Overbury circles away.

Borowski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Borowski throwing strikes but missing. Borowski being controlled here momentarily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Overbury controlling the position for now. Borowski trying to control the action but Overbury is working from the bottom. Borowski has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Borowski punching from mount but Overbury doing a good job of avoiding damage. Borowski is trying to take his opponent's back.
