Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Monster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, You Stink!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stink fails with the takedown.
Stink throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Monster keeps the fight on the outside.
Stink looks to score with a jab to the body but Monster is just out of range.
Monster is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stink's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stink regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Monster.
Stink escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Monster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Monster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Stink utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Monster lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Monster is looking to work some ground and pound but Stink has wrist control.

Stink has momentary wrist control but Monster slips an elbow through the middle.

Stink really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Monster keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stink's head.
Stink should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Stink is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Monster postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Monster works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Monster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Monster lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Stink is looking for a sweep. Monster is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Monster working over Stink with some ground and pound. Stink looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Monster slips a nice elbow through Stink's hands, connecting with Stink's forehead.
Monster lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Monster working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stink is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Monster scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Monster fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Monster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Monster has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stink is rocked!
It looks like You Stink has been cut.
Monster slowing the pace effectively.
Stink is still on wobbly legs! Can Monster finish him?
Monster tightens his grip and picks Stink up, before dumping him to the ground. Stink manages to land in guard.
Stink seems to have recovered his senses.
Monster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stink can do to turn this around?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Monster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Monster cracks Stink with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
