Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucius Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Penduko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lucius Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pedro Penduko! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Black enables Penduko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Black manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Penduko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Penduko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Penduko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penduko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Penduko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Black looking to control.
Penduko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. It looks like Penduko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Black scores with a kick to the midsection. A jab from Black does it's job there. Penduko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Black did well to prevent Penduko getting side control. Penduko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Penduko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penduko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Black tries to get to full guard but Penduko has control of the leg. Black is looking to escape. Penduko lands with a punch from half guard. Penduko not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black wants to control but Penduko is keeping busy.
Penduko missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Penduko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Black is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Black is working hard here to advance position. Penduko seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Black is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Pedro Penduko! An out of breath Pedro Penduko thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
