Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael MacRoberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimble's entrance music is Ecstasy Of Gold. A fine choice. MacRoberts has chosen Pretty Vacant by The Sex Pistols as his entrance music. Michael MacRoberts will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimble looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Michael MacRoberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacRoberts moves out of range of the strikes.
Kimble throws an uppercut from half a mile away. MacRoberts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
MacRoberts with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kimble to score with a decent uppercut.
Nice uppercut lands for MacRoberts. That snapped Kimble's head back.

Kimble does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Kimble counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for MacRoberts!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kimble has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kimble unloads with some shots from mount but MacRoberts bucks and avoids them well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MacRoberts's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kimble lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Kimble quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Kimble but it's paid off an MacRoberts is forced to tap! Nice work by Kimble.
