Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuma Kinoshita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pedro Penduko!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinoshita shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Penduko as he avoids it easily.
Penduko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kinoshita.

Penduko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kinoshita on his heels. He'll look to pass Kinoshita's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Penduko postures up in Kinoshita's guard and throws a big left but Kinoshita blocks it.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Penduko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kinoshita sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kinoshita shoots in but no luck this time.
Kinoshita keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kinoshita dives in and grabs Penduko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Penduko pushes down on Kinoshita's head and hops out.

Kazuma Kinoshita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Penduko.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Penduko.
Penduko works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Penduko throws a strike aimed at the side of Kinoshita's head but Kinoshita avoids it well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Penduko sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kinoshita is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Penduko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kinoshita is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

You can see the frustration on Kinoshita's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Penduko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kinoshita has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kinoshita takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Penduko is looking to take a break and control but Kinoshita is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kinoshita tries to get back to half guard but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Penduko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kinoshita knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pedro Penduko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Penduko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
