PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Dummie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bash comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead-Undead. Dummie has chosen The Boxer / Simon & Garfunkel as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Jon Bash has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jon Bash seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dummie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dummie looks to land a right hand but Bash moved out of range.

Bash drops Dummie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dummie looks back up at him and smiles so Bash waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dummie is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A slow jab from Bash misses its intended target.
Dummie is still on wobbly legs! Can Bash finish him?
Dummie slips under a jab from Bash.
Bash loads up on a big right hand but Dummie slips the punch.

Bash closes the distance and clinches.
Bash swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bash has a couple of punches blocked by Dummie.
Bash misses with the head strike.
Bash throws a punch but it's blocked by Dummie.
Bash tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bash misses with a punch on the inside.

Bash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bash sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Dummie's defenses. It connects perfectly with Dummie's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Bash!
