Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Tulova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Madison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison doesn't manage to clinch there - Tulova circles away.
Billy Madison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madison fails in his attempt to clinch.
Madison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tulova paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tulova changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Madison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tulova sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Madison is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tulova working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Tulova is looking to take a break and control but Madison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Madison is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tulova asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Tulova tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tulova has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tulova creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Madison sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madison is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tulova has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Tulova in side control, throwing shots but Madison defends.
Madison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tulova. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Madison has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tulova is trying to break the clinch but Madison has him pressed against the cage.
Tulova cracks Madison with a nice body shot.
Madison tries a knee to the head but Tulova blocks it.
Tulova has had enough of the clinch but Madison keeps him there for the moment.
Madison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tulova.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Madison fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tulova on the side of the head.
Tulova looks for the body kick but Madison saw that one coming.
Madison moves in looking to clinch but Tulova pushes him off.
Madison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tulova. Tulova circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Madison counters with a leg kick.

Tulova looks to land a combination but Madison avoids it well.
Tulova misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Madison wants to clinch but Tulova slips to the side
and Tulova counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Madison is pressed up against the cage. Tulova has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Madison down to the mat. Madison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willie Tulova. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Madison has managed to clinch.
Come on Madison - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Madison forces Tulova back against the cage and clinches.

Madison is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tulova.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Madison's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Madison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tulova looks for a takedown but Madison sprawls well.
Madison lands with a kick to the temple. Tulova shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Madison throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tulova.
Tulova circles away from the clinch attempt.
Madison wants to clinch but Tulova slips to the side
and Tulova decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Madison's guard.
Tulova loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tulova stays in close to Madison's body and controls the position.
Tulova gets to his feet - Madison follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tulova's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tulova clinches up against the cage.

Tulova shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Madison pinned against the cage. Madison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tulova does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Madison manages to break the clinch.
Madison throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Tulova crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
