PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chandler Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Szpilka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artur Szpilka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon misses with a low kick.
Szpilka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Szpilka thows a body shot but no joy.
Cannon blocks a low kick nicely.

Cannon feints and as Szpilka raises his hands in defense, Cannon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cannon scoring with some ground and pound.
Cannon cracks Szpilka with a solid left hand.
Cannon trying to control the position from guard on top but Szpilka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cannon scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Cannon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Szpilka is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cannon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Cannon lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Szpilka! More strikes land and this one is all over! Cannon jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
