Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hitoshi Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moa Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hitoshi Matsumoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moa Soto! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsumoto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Soto has time to react. A jab from Matsumoto finds it's way through Soto's defenses. Matsumoto changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. That kick from Matsumoto tenderised Soto's leg. Soto is trying to keep his angry face on. Matsumoto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A big right from Soto misses. Matsumoto checks a leg kick nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Matsumoto.
Matsumoto lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A head kick by Soto misses and Matsumoto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Soto walks into a jab. Soto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Matsumoto connects with an inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Soto throws a right hand that Matsumoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Matsumoto also avoids with ease. Moa Soto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soto drops his hands momentarily and Matsumoto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Soto misses with a jab to the body
and Matsumoto counters with a straight right hand. Matsumoto lands a high kick!
Soto takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Matsumoto. Soto throws a sloppy head kick and Matsumoto counters with a nice body shot. Soto misses with a low kick as Matsumoto jumps back. Soto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matsumoto manages to avoid it. Matsumoto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Soto thows a leg kick but Matsumoto checks it and Matsumoto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Soto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Matsumoto was well out of range. Poor timing from Soto. Soto throws a leg kick and Matsumoto counters with a nice uppercut. Soto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Soto gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Soto tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Matsumoto is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Soto buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Soto!! Soto is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Matsumoto throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hitoshi Matsumoto! Hitoshi Matsumoto seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
