Cali kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Never Say Die. Chad Looney has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cali shoots in and bounces Looney off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Looney working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cali doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cali manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cali wants to get up but he can't break Looney's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Looney is looking for a triangle but Cali pushes his legs off easily.
