Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lew Alcindor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Alcindor's choice of entrance music: could you be loved. The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcindor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hilton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hilton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hilton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hilton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hilton throws a combination. Alcindor tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alcindor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Alcindor swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Lew Alcindor was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
